1) FPC (Flat Plate Collector) Model
2) ETC (Evacuated Tube Collector) Model
First Model is maintenance free and almost all of its parts are made up of pure copper and duly guaranteed for long durability and the second is ETC (Evacuated Tube Collector) model made up of Glass Tubes. The main difference between these two models are that while in FPC Model the heat absorbent (panel) is copper fins in the ETC model it is evacuated glass tubes. Murickens products are marketed through MURICKENS marketing system under the registered brand names `MG`. MG water heater has got a remarkable role to play in saving energy and its main attractions are very low maintenance cost ,unlimited usage and the non- requirement of a government license. Flat plate collector (FPC) – An insulated, weather-proofed box containing a dark absorber plate under one or more transparent or translucent covers. This is the most common type solar water heater. Murickens has tested and proved since 30 years that it is the most suitable type for Kerala's climatic conditions and get 80°C hot water with the help of only normal sunlight.We have Pressurized MG solar water heater and Non -pressure solar water heater in FPC Model

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:

1. Unobstructed sunlight (Shadow free area)
2. Flat (Preferable) or sloping roof area as requested
3. Area should be near to point of usage (bathroom / kitchen) : to avoid long hot water piping and heat losses
4. The system (solar collectors) should face south direction
5. Fresh (cold) water tank at a height @ 5-7 ft above the system tank height
6. 5 years guarantee, onsite after sales service
